Nokia Siemens: Fewer layoffs than expected

Negotiations with labour unions have been concluded in Finland, local media reports, and the number of layoffs has reduced considerably. Now, close to 630 Finnish jobs are expected to go. The restructuring plan announced earlier this year, should job reductions of 1'200 in Finland. Negotiations in Germany - where the company announced 2'900 job cuts - are still ongoing.
