Foxconn is world's 10th biggest employer

EMS-giant Foxconn is the world's 10th largest employer with 1.2 million staff.
iAnything-maker Foxconn is apparently the world's 10th biggest employer, according to research by the BBC. With 1.2 million employees it is the only electronics company on that list. Most of them - close to 1 million- work in Chinese manufacturing facilities.

The People's Liberation Army (China) employs 2.3 million, placing it squarely at number 2.

Apple - with its 63'000 global employees - was not even close to getting there.
