March Networks might move production to Asian market
After shareholders approved the acquisition by Infinova, production might move to Asia.
Chief executive Peter Strom told the Ottawa Business Journal that March Networks will still operate as a stand-alone company. Furthermore, jobs are not likely to move overseas on a grand scale. The Ottawa office "will likely see growth".
The Ottawa (Canada) headquartered company has outsourced production to EMS-provider Sanmina-SCI, which manufactures for them in Mexico. After the acquisition the company "will consider moving that business to the Asian market", the Chief Executive said in the interview.
