Kitron: Swedish operation profitable
Kitron has announced that their newly merged Swedish units were profitable in Q3.
The merger of Kitron AB, situated in Karlskrona and Kitron Microelectronics AB, situated in Jönköping, was completed in early September this year. Operating profit for the Sweden business area was 1.1 NOK million, up from -2.2 NOK million in Q3 2010.
"Our wish is to achieve a more efficient and streamlined organization in Sweden", said Jan Ljungqvist, Business Area Manager at Kitron in Jönköping, at the time of merger.
