Foxconn to make 20 million iPads in 3Q
EMS-provider Foxconn - long-time manufacturing partner of Apple - is said to produce 20 million iPad2 during 3Q.
This effectively doubles the units Apple has sold during 2Q (9.25 million), reports DigiTimes. Seeking Alpha is estimating shipments of 22 million during 3Q.
Meanwhile, Foxconn reported net profits for 1H/2011 of NTD 27.38 billion (EUR 660 million).
