Huawei scales down production in Hungary

Both Huawei plans to decrease production capacity at its facility in Pécs (Hungary).
Huawei plans to introduce single daily shifts (instead of three). This will also result in a reduction of staff numbers to 30 (from currently 90), writes local media.

EMS-partner Elcoteq seems to reduce expenditures not directly related to the running of the business. The Pécs unit - currently employing around 2'800 staff is reportedly discontinuing with giving lunch and bus ticket vouchers to its employees - as of September.
