Celestica expects revenue to almost double to $40 billion in 2027

Celestica’s revenue rose 83% to USD 5.83 billion in the third quarter, beating the top of its own guidance. The Canadian EMS provider has raised its full-year outlook and now expects revenue to reach USD 40 billion in 2027, up 90% on this year.

Growth was driven almost entirely by Connectivity & Cloud Solutions (CCS), which covers networking, servers and storage, according to Celestica’s third-quarter report. CCS revenue more than doubled to USD 4.87 billion, or about 83.5% of the group’s total. Within the segment, Hardware Platform Solutions grew by 70% to about USD 2.3 billion. The segment margin rose to 8.9%, from 8.3% a year earlier.

Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS), which includes aerospace and defence, industrial, HealthTech and capital equipment, grew by 23% to USD 0.96 billion, with the segment margin up from 5.5% to 6.6%.

Profitability also improved. The adjusted operating margin rose to 8.5%, from 7.6% a year earlier, which Celestica says is a new high for the company.

For the full year, Celestica has raised its revenue outlook to USD 21 billion, from USD 20.5 billion, which would mean growth of 69%. For 2027, Celestica expects an adjusted operating margin of 9.0% and capital expenditure of USD 1.5–2.0 billion.

“Celestica is well-positioned to continue to support leading hyperscalers and frontier AI labs through the ongoing AI infrastructure supercycle. The demand environment continues to be very robust, supporting our 2027 revenue outlook, with customer demand forecasts meaningfully higher for 2028,” says Rob Mionis, Chair of the Board and CEO of Celestica.
