TTM Technologies completes acquisition of ILFA
US PCB maker TTM Technologies has completed its acquisition of ILFA, a Hanover-based manufacturer of PCBs for the aerospace and defence industries. With the deal, TTM gains a manufacturing base for high-reliability PCBs in Europe.
All required agreements have now been signed, marking the official closing of the transaction, according to a press release from ILFA. As part of TTM, ILFA will continue to focus on PCBs for aerospace and defence, and the two companies aim to build a leading position in that market in Europe.
For TTM, which makes PCBs, substrates, RF components and microwave and microelectronic assemblies, the acquisition is a step towards strengthening its presence and capabilities in the European market for high-reliability PCBs.
“This partnership creates new opportunities to further develop our strengths and sustainably expand our position in the European Aerospace and Defence market,” says Thomas Michels, CEO of ILFA.
