Estek unveils $5 million manufacturing facility in Penang
The new facility will primarily focus on semiconductor equipment manufacturing and AI solutions, with dedicated space for contract manufacturing activities.
Estek Automation Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian engineering and automation company, has opened its new 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Batu Kawan, Penang, representing a total investment of RM20 million (nearly USD 5 million), according to a press release.
Established in 2015, Estek specialises in semiconductor automation equipment and intelligent manufacturing solutions. The new facility will primarily focus on semiconductor equipment manufacturing and AI solutions, with dedicated space for contract manufacturing activities.
By integrating these capabilities under one roof, Estek aims to enhance its engineering and manufacturing capacity, accelerate technology development and deliver more comprehensive solutions to semiconductor and industrial customers, the press release said.
