India’s Vikram Solar secures 187 MW module supply order

Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply its high-efficiency N-Type TOPCon G12R modules, featuring glass-to-glass construction and bifacial technology, with power ratings ranging from 615–625 Wp.

Vikram Solar, an Indian solar PV module manufacturer, has secured a 187 MW module supply order from a renewable energy developer for solar projects at three locations across the southern Indian states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply its high-efficiency N-Type TOPCon G12R modules, featuring glass-to-glass construction and bifacial technology, with power ratings ranging from 615–625 Wp, the company said.

The engagement builds on Vikram Solar’s existing association with the developer and adds to Vikram Solar’s growing pipeline as an integrated domestic manufacturer at a time when India is scaling up toward its target of 500 GW of non-fossil capacity.

“As India’s solar sector continues to scale, the focus is increasingly on technologies that can deliver performance, reliability and long-term value across utility-scale projects,” Sameer Nagpal, Chief Executive Officer, Vikram Solar, said. “At Vikram Solar, we remain committed to advancing our technology capabilities and maintaining the manufacturing and execution standards that our customers expect, delivering dependable, high-efficiency solar solutions that support the evolving needs of India’s renewable energy sector.”

Headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, Vikram Solar Limited specializes in photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing, with an international presence across 39 countries.
