Tessolve raises $75M to support acquisitions, strengthen offerings
Tessolve is a Bangalore-based semiconductor engineering company offering end-to-end solutions across chip architecture, design, validation, testing and embedded systems. The investment round was spearheaded by US firm Vector Line.
Bangalore-based semiconductor engineering services company Tessolve, a Hero Electronix venture, has raised USD 75 million from US firm Vector Line Capital, which joins existing investors TPG and Novo Tellus.
The fresh capital is expected to support Tessolve’s growth, including strategic acquisitions that add to its existing capabilities, widen its service offerings, and boost its global footprint, according to a report by Indian news agency PTI.
“Two decades ago, we started with silicon test engineering. Today we are designing and productising complete chips for the companies building AI infrastructure — that shift took sustained investment in capabilities, platforms, and talent, well before the demand arrived,” Tessolve co-founder and CEO Srini Chinamilli said. “This investment will support acquisitions that further strengthen our offerings, and Vector Line’s focus on the sector and their relationships will add significant value.”
Tessolve serves semiconductor companies, hyperscalers, chip startups and system companies across sectors such as AI, high-performance computing, automotive, data centres and industrial applications, according to a report by BW Disrupt.
“Semiconductors are becoming extremely complex, making them harder to design, validate and test. Leading technology companies are increasingly turning to engineering partners who can carry work across the whole development cycle,” Geoffrey Baldwin, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vector Line Capital, said, according to the PTI report. “Tessolve is among the few companies that can do this at scale across the semiconductor value chain, globally.”
