SiMa.ai raises $150 million in Series C to scale Physical AI

The new funding brings the total capital raised by the US startup to USD 500 million, valuing it at USD 1.45 billion. The fresh capital will accelerate the scaling of Palette Neat, an agentic software environment for Physical AI.

SiMa.ai has announced USD 150 million in Series C financing, bringing the total capital raised to USD 500 million and valuing the San Jose, California-based startup at USD 1.45 billion.

The round was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify, with participation from Alter Venture Partners, Dell Technologies Capital, Maverick Capital, +ND Capital, Point72 and StepStone Group. AllianceBernstein, Baron Capital, J.P. Morgan, and the State of Michigan also joined the round as new investors, SiMa.ai said in a press release.

SiMa.ai delivers a full-stack Physical AI platform combining purpose-built silicon and software to streamline deployments from months to days or hours, the company said.

“Physical AI in humanoids, automotive and drones is the gateway to a $50 trillion market that has remained largely untouched by modern innovation,” said Krishna Rangasayee, Founder and CEO at SiMa.ai. “While others are still figuring out the pieces or repurposing their cloud offerings, we’ve built the entire puzzle. This investment will further catapult us into a dominant position, giving us the resources to scale our purpose-built platform and secure an undeniable lead in the Physical AI race.”

This capital raise will accelerate the scaling of Palette Neat, an agentic software environment for Physical AI, and fund next-generation hardware that will deliver 1,000 dense TOPS of compute in purpose-built Physical AI silicon, the press release said.

“SiMa.ai has consistently proven its ability to out-innovate and out-execute the rest of the market, dramatically reducing the complexity of deploying advanced AI models on physical edge devices, and accelerating time to market for the world’s most sophisticated autonomous systems,” said Mike Dauber, General Partner, Amplify Partners

“As enterprise intelligence migrates into the physical world, it’s been challenged by the tradeoff between performance and power. SiMa.ai is shattering that barrier,” said Scott Darling, President and Managing Director, Dell Technologies Capital. “Its platform delivers the software agility and Physical AI-optimized compute that modern enterprises require to scale computer vision and autonomous capabilities.”

John Avirett, Partner, StepStone Group, said SiMa.ai had created a differentiated, purpose-built Physical AI platform that answers the rigorous demands of real-world applications.
