TransPak brings semiconductor packaging expertise to Thailand

TransPak, a provider of crating, packaging and logistics solutions, has announced the opening of its new facility in Chonburi, Thailand, expanding the company’s capabilities across Southeast Asia.
Located in the Namyong Terminal Free Zone in the Bueng Subdistrict of Si Racha District, the 2,318-square-meter (approximately 24,950-square-foot) facility offers packaging, final assembly, pack-on-site services and in-lane logistics for customers in Thailand and throughout Southeast Asia, the company said.
“From microchips to 40,000-pound equipment, TransPak has been protecting semiconductor equipment since the industry began,” said Aung Zeya, Regional Manager of Southeast Asia at TransPak. “As Thailand’s chip and electronics sector accelerates, customers need specialized packaging and engineering expertise on the ground, not an ocean away. Our new Thailand facility lets our customers focus on building the technology while we take care of how it travels.”
The facility’s location within the Namyong Terminal Free Zone gives TransPak a strategic base to support customers with faster, more customized packaging and logistics services as technology investment continues to grow across the region, the company said.
