India’s Aimtron Electronics secures pilot order from Curtiss-Wright
Aimtron is increasingly focusing on opportunities where electronics manufacturing is accompanied by deeper engineering involvement, higher product complexity and stringent quality requirements.
Aimtron Electronics Limited, an Indian Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) company, has secured a pilot order from Curtiss-Wright Corporation, a US-headquartered global engineering company.
The engagement marks an important step in Aimtron’s strategy to expand its presence among global customers operating in high-reliability and technology-intensive industries, Aimtron said in a press release.
Subject to successful qualification, programme approvals and future business requirements, the engagement has the potential to expand into additional programmes over time.
The development comes as Aimtron continues to strengthen its capabilities across product engineering, prototyping, PCB assembly, system integration, manufacturing and testing, while building a larger presence in global electronics supply chains. The company is increasingly focusing on opportunities where electronics manufacturing is accompanied by deeper engineering involvement, higher product complexity and stringent quality requirements, the press release said.

Curtiss-Wright provides highly engineered products, solutions and services across aerospace and defence, commercial nuclear power, process and industrial markets. The company has approximately 9,100 employees globally.
