Syrma SGS and Elemaster inaugurate joint venture facility in Bengaluru
Indian EMS provider Syrma SGS Technology and Italian EMS provider Elemaster have inaugurated a new high-reliability electronics manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, India, through their joint venture Syrma SGS Elemaster. The 20,000 square-foot facility is located in the Bommasandra Industrial Area.
The facility is equipped with SMT, THT and box-build assembly lines and targets sectors where quality and stringent manufacturing standards are critical — including railways and transportation, industrial electronics, energy and medical electronics, according to a press release from the companies.
"With SMT, THT and box-build capabilities under one roof, the facility provides an integrated platform to support complex electronics manufacturing requirements across railways, industrial and medical applications," said Jasbir Singh Gujral, Managing Director of Syrma SGS Technology.
The joint venture combines Syrma SGS's manufacturing scale and supply chain capabilities in India with Elemaster's engineering expertise and relationships with European and global OEMs.
"By combining Elemaster's engineering, technology and high-reliability manufacturing expertise with Syrma SGS's scale and strong presence in India, we can create an effective platform for serving both existing and new customers," said Valentina Cogliati, CEO of Elemaster.
