Nordson Test & Inspection opens centre of excellence in Phoenix
Nordson Test & Inspection has opened a new Centre of Excellence in Phoenix, Arizona, in the United States. The purpose-built facility serves as a demonstration, training and testing centre for the company's semiconductor and SMT inspection and metrology solutions.
The facility houses a broad range of Nordson's inspection and metrology systems, including optical, X-ray and acoustic technologies, as well as the company's WaferSense semiconductor metrology sensors for tool set-up and maintenance. Visitors can evaluate solutions through full demonstrations before making investment decisions, according to a press release from the company.
The centre also operates as a training hub, offering educational sessions on both new and existing solutions, and will host customers, partners, industry experts and media.
"Our Centre of Excellence provides customers with the opportunity to see, evaluate and validate advanced inspection technologies for their applications, helping them make informed and confident investment decisions," said Brian Dodier, Vice President of X-Ray & Test Division at Nordson.
The Phoenix facility is part of Nordson's broader strategy to expand customer access to its technologies and support capabilities globally.
