NEOTech acquires Virtex, expanding to eleven US defence manufacturing facilities

US EMS provider NEOTech has completed the acquisition of Virtex, a provider of high-reliability electronics manufacturing services focused on the defence market.

The combined company will operate eleven facilities with more than 2,500 employees. No financial terms were disclosed.

Virtex operates five facilities across the United States and offers end-to-end electronics manufacturing, including PCBA, cable and harness assembly, full system integration, engineering and testing, supply chain management and aftermarket support, according to a press release from NEOTech.

The acquisition broadens NEOTech's domestic manufacturing base and strengthens its position in complex, low-to-medium-volume, high-mix electronics manufacturing for defence customers. The combined organisation is ITAR-registered.

"Virtex brings an experienced team, a strong domestic manufacturing network, an attractive customer base, and key capabilities that align closely with NEOTech's existing operations and long-term strategy," said Courtney Ryan, executive board member of NEOTech.
