EMS provider Norautron acquires Jaltek, establishes UK presence

The acquisition marks an important step in the Norwegian company's international growth, establishing a presence in the UK while expanding the Group’s advanced electronics manufacturing capacity and strengthening its technical and design capabilities.

Norautron has acquired UK-based EMS provider Jaltek. The acquisition represents an important step in Norautron’s continued international growth, establishing a presence in the UK while expanding the Group’s advanced electronics manufacturing capacity and strengthening its technical and design capabilities, according to a press release.

Headquartered in Horten, Norway, Norautron is an EMS provider with branches in Norway, Sweden, Poland, China and Malaysia.

“This acquisition marks a natural continuation of our growth strategy,” said Bjørn Einar Brath, CEO of Norautron AS. “The UK is a highly strategic market, particularly within defence and aerospace, and this investment will enhance our proximity to both existing and new customers in the region.”

Jaltek brings design and manufacturing expertise across high-tech and highly regulated industries, the press release said.

“After several years of strong growth, we’re excited to become part of the Norautron Group,” said Steve Pittom, Managing Director of Jaltek. “There are many complementary strengths across our organisations which will significantly enhance what we can offer our customers, while continuing to deliver the high levels of quality and service they expect from Jaltek.”
