Flextronics to reduce PC ODM business within portfolio

During the latest Investor & Analyst Day, the EMS-provider gave an overview of the current business segments and the relevant revenue mix for FY2011. Infrastructure is the biggest segment - contributing 27% of total revenue. This is followed by Mobile and Industrial, Auto, Medical & Other, each contributing 21% to total revenue. Computing and Consumer Digital follow with a 18% and 13% contribution to total revenue (respectively). The EMS-provider also indicated during the event, that it would be "actively taking steps to reduce PC ODM business" from its portfolio. The reposition of assets is also considered. © Flextronics
