Celestica narrows loss
Canada based EMS Provider Celestica Inc. announced financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2005. Revenue was $1,994 million, compared to $2,176 million in the third quarter of 2004.
Net loss on a GAAP basis for the third quarter was ($19.6) million or ($0.09) per share, compared to a GAAP net loss for the third quarter of 2004 of ($24.4) million or ($0.11) per share. Included in GAAP net loss for the quarter are charges of $40.9 million associated with previously announced restructuring plans, and a $6.8 million charge associated with the company's previously announced option exchange program approved by shareholders in April of this year.
