Digi-Key and Peregrine sign distribution agreement

Electronic components distributor Digi-Key and radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) manufacturer Peregrine Semiconductor have finalized a global distribution agreement involving Peregrine’s UltraCMOS RFIC products.
“We are excited to announce the addition of Peregrine’s innovative UltraCMOS silicon-on-sapphire (SOS) RFIC solutions to Digi-Key's vast product listing,” said Mark Zack, Digi-Key's vice president of semiconductor product. “Our goal is to provide the best products from antenna in to data out and we believe Peregrine’s advanced technology will help us achieve that goal.”

“OEM engineering teams designing tomorrow’s wireless products are increasingly faced with complex RF integration challenges, and they need simple solutions, fast,” said Dale Robinette, Peregrine’s director of worldwide sales. “Peregrine continues to drive its growth by accessing new customers in all parts the world; adding Digi-Key to our channel partner strategy broadens our reach to this audience, expands our sales support capability, and ultimately puts our product closer to the customer. We look forward to our combined strength in the marketplace.”
