Price increases for electromechanical components
The all-time high in prices for gold and silver, but also the massive price increases for other precious metals, non-ferrous metals and other raw materials are taxing manufacturer of electromechanical components.
The purchasing prices for raw materials necessary for the production result in dramatically rising material costs for electro-mechanical components. The procurement costs for raw materials for such products can account for half of the turnover. Many manufacturers are therefore unable to compensate these price hikes only through optimisation or increased productivity alone.
