Flextronics to lay off in Taiwan?
Singapore-based EMS-giant Flextronics is reportedly laying off staff at their Taiwan manufacturing operations.
Reason is apparently a lower-than-expected performance during 2010, reports DigiTimes in an article. However, the newspaper also states that Flextronics has so far not commented on these market reports. While the R&D unit (AIO PC) will see some lay offs, notebook manufacturing will not.
