Sanyo ramps up in Hungary
Sanyo has started production at a new solar cell production hall in Dorog, Hungary.
According to MTI, cited by Budapest Business Journal, Sanyo has boosted annual output at its base in Hungary by 30%. The latest investment has created over 300 jobs, the report claimed.
Sanyo Hungary invested about HUF 3.7 billion on a 9,000-square-metre production hall. The company moved the solar cell production to Dorog in 2005. Today it employs about 1600 people.
