Optogan opens biggest LED factory in Eastern Europe

Optogan Group held a grand opening of its plant in St. Petersburg today.
This marked the first LED and LED module manufacturing facility in Russia and the largest in countries of Eastern Europe.

The first line in the St. Petersburg plant is capable of manufacturing 360 million LEDs per year. The plant is 15,000 square meters; 5,000 square meters of productive space are devoted to clean rooms for LED chips manufacturing. Optogan has invested 3.35 billion rubles in the project.
