Billionaire wants Apple to move from Foxconn to Brazil
Brazillian Billionaire Eike Batista wants to bring Apple manufacturing from China to his home country.
Batista made his millions in the mining industry, and he is now investing these in constructing a $1.6 billion manufacturing plant. He tries to convince Apple to transfer its manufacturing to Brazil, which would help stimulating the local economy. Batista’s second choice partner would be BMW, according to Cult of Mac.
