Top20 European EMS-providers

Foxconn, the world’s largest EMS provider, also holds top position in Europe according to Reed Electronics Research’s ranking of the Top 20 European EMS providers in 2009.

The Top 10 was dominated by the global Tier 1 companies with Flextronics holding second position, Jabil third and Celestica and Sanmina-SCI fifth and sixth, respectively. In total, non-European companies accounted for seven of the top 50 companies. The top three companies reported revenues of over Euro one billion with a further four reporting revenues of over Euro 500 million. The majority of the Top 50, or 38 providers, reported revenues under Euro 200 million and of these 22 had revenues below Euro 100 million. In total, the Top 50 accounted for 76% of European EMS revenues in 2009, with the top three 42%. The 20 biggest companies are listed below.
