Salt grains: World's smallest batteries
Scientists in the US are on track to develop the smallest batteries in the world.
The batteries would be extremely small, you could probably pour them out of a saltshaker. This research is still in the early stages, but these batteries could be used to power electronics and mechanical components of tiny micro devices, reports Theeconomictimes.
