Cal-Comp acquires Spectragraphics
Thailand-based Cal-Comp is to acquire Spectragraphics, offering the company a foothold in the US-American market.
EMS-providers SMS Technologies and Total Electronics, both subsidiaries of Spectragraphics, were sold along the way for an undisclosed sum, local media reports. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Cal-Comp is controlled by Taiwan-based Kinpo, which has 90,000 employees worldwide (in Brazil, China, Phillippines, Poland, Taiwan and Thailand).
