Continental invests further in Hungary

"A new project aims equipping the plant with technology, in order to be able to introduce new production lines for innovative automotive products like: electronic control units of hybrid drive systems, chassis control systems and EBS brake control electronics", the company announced in a press release. By the end of 2012, the new project will have provided 175 additional job opportunities for engineers as well as manufacturing staff. The manufacturing base in Budapest—which recently celebrated their 20th year of operation—currently employs 1’200 staff.
