Kitron: revenue development stable across all entities
The Norwegian EMS-provider Kitron reports a relatively stable revenue development across all entities - Norway, Sweden and Lithuania.
Revenue for the 2Q/2010 in Norway stood 1% higher. The regions shows mixed trends with a slow development in Offshore, while teh Medical Equipment Sector is going strong. Sweden shows a strong recovery, specifically in the Industry Sector, and was up 11%. Lithuania decreased by 6%, impacted by a negative trend in Offshore while other segments show strong a development.
The profit development for each region also showed mixed trends. While the margin improvement in Norway correlated with the revenue recovery, the Swedish Kitron AB reported a loss of NOK 4.5 million for the 2Q/2010 (locations are based in Karlskoga and Jönköping). However, the EMS-provider saw a significant improvement towards the end of the quarter (break even in June). Lithuania reported a strong operating margin.
