Leoni acquires fiber optics specialist in North America

Leoni’s subsidiary FiberTech USA is focused on medical laser applications. RoMack complements Leoni’s own portfolio and will enable the company to offer its target markets in North and South America a complete range of optical technology from a single source. The registered office will be located in Chandler, Arizona. The Williamsburg facility will remain with its production, research and distribution operations. The company now has more than 350 employees at premises in central Franconia, Thuringia, northern Baden, Berlin and the Rhineland in Germany as well as in the US states of Arizona and Virginia and also in Ontario, Canada.
