GN acquires German hearing-aid manufacturer

An earn-out deal is included in the deal which is depending on the turnover through 2005-2007. Interton has a strong position especially on the American and the German market where the comany's low- and middlepriced products are going to strengthen GN's profile as a provider of hearing-aids at all price levels. Interton is expected to reach a turnover of EUR 30 Million in 2005 by the sales of 145 000 units. Restructuring costs are also expected of about EUR 2.7 Million in 2005.
