Solar panels booming the EMS industry
The growing cleantech demand is benefiting the EMS providers around the world.
The recent contacts between Flextronics and solar companies such as SunPower and Q-Cells is showing that big players in the solar industry are starting to outsource production in order to trim their own costs, reports Sustainablebusiness which is referring to an Reuters article.
An analyst predicts that the solar business is starting a "new EMS boom". According to this analyst this could lead to a tripling of contract manufacturing in this sector during 2010.
