Foxconn to produce HP, HP Pro and Compaq models in Russia
As reported earlier EMS provider Foxconn has opened its PC production centre near St. Petersburg for Hewlett-Packard.
At this unit Foxconn will produce HP, HP Pro and Compaq models for Hewlett-Packard. The company will initially employ 100 employees, but the staff number will increase as the production volumes are raising, said themoscowtimes. Foxconn plans initially was to invest some $50 million in this plant, but this number may increase.
