Foxconn opens Russian unit
Foxconn has opened its PC production center near St. Petersburg for Hewlett-Packard.
The plant was originally planned to open in 2009, however Foxconn bumped into trouble with its contractors causing the delay. Foxconn plans initially to invest some $50 million in the plant with a monthly capacity of up to 40,000 computer, according to RIA Novosti.
