Palm reportedly halts production with Foxconn
The mobile phone giant Palm has apparently halted production at its manufacturing partner Foxconn.
An OTR Global report – citing different sources in Taiwan – indicates that mobile phone company Palm has suddenly halted the production of its CDMA Pre and Pre Plus smartphones with EMS-provider Foxconn until the end of February. The sources also indicated that is was uncertain if production would resume in March. Palm however stated that production was only halted for the Chinese New Year celebrations and that production would certainly go back to normal by the end of the month.
