Toshiba expands wafer capacity
Japaneese semiconductor supplier Toshiba is considering an expansion of it's 300mm wafer production capacity.
The company is expected to invest about $4.2 billion in an expansion of it's 300mm wafer production capacity until 2008. The extended capacity will be used for the manufacturing of the company's memory chips.
