Sony Ericsson to close down development unit in Sweden
Mobile phone manufacturer Sony Ericsson will close down its development unit in Kista, Sweden.
230 employees in total will lose their jobs; 130 employees at the unit and 100 software consultans will be affected by this decision.. Approximately 40 employees will remain in Kista, to cover marketing, sales and support, an IT24 report states. The closure is a part of a restructuring program that the company said will be completed next year.
