Qimonda with new US Based Licensing Group
The insolvent German chip manufacturer Qimonda AG established the Qimonda Licensing LLC with offices in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Qimonda AG, which is under administration of insolvency administrator Dr. Michael Jaffé, owns one of the largest semiconductor patent portfolios in the world stemming from decades of worldwide research and development.
Mr. Brian Prather is one of Qimonda Licensing LLC’s directors. Mr. Prather has led Qimonda AG’s licensing efforts for several years with staff located in both the U.S. and Munich/Germany. Qimonda Licensing LLC’s U.S. based team will be responsible for the licensing and exploitation of Qimonda AG’s worldwide patent portfolio.
