Antenova acquires gigaAnt
Antenova out of Cambridge, United Kingdom, has acquired Sweden based gigaAnt short range wireless antenna business from Finnish Perlos Corporation.
The Head Office of gigaAnt is located on the Ideon Science Park, Lund, Sweden. gigaAnt was founded by Moteco 1999 then one of the world's leading suppliers of terminal antennas for mobile phones. gigaAnt draws upon 35 years of development and manufacturing experience from Moteco. Moteco is since 2001 a part of Finnish Perlos group.
The deal is said to broaden Antenova's product portfolio. gigaAnt develops antennas for short range wireless devices used in Bluetooth, WiFi and WiMedia applications.
