Toshiba to outsource some chip production
Toshiba is currently in discussion about outsourcing production of some of its next-generation system chips.
Toshiba is currently is talks with Chartered Semiconductor and Globalfoundries about outsourcing some of the production of the next-generation system chips to be able to cut costs. Toshiba did not want to give out any comments regarding this information, Reuters said.
