Fire at Philips' US facility

A fire broke out at Philips US facility on Wednesday this week.

Company officials of the Dutch electronics giant evacuated the facility and sent all employees home for the day. The fire broke out on the roof of the building - near a conveyor belt - and continued burning for more than 3 hours, before the fire fighters were able to control it, said spartaexpositor. The facility was reopened and staff was able to return to work.
