OKI Semiconductor leaves Europe

Japan based OKI Semiconductor has decided to close all its foreign offices including the European organisation.

The decision has been taken together with Rohm Co, Ltd which owns the majority of OKI Semiconductor. According to OkI Semiconduclor Europe GmbH, the European organisation will be terminated as soon as possible. Orders placed will be delivered. Oki Semiconductor Co, Ltd will remain its activities in Japan. All sales activities in Japan except optical components will be moved to Rohm’s Japanese organisation.
