Flextronics, Gigabyte & ECS with white-box notebooks
Flextronics, Gigabyte Technology and Elitegroup Computer Systems have launched ntel-designed Montevina-based white-box notebooks.
The notebooks have been launched under the Intel-led programm, reports DigiTimes. The program aims to support Tier-II OEM notebook manufacturers. The white-box notebook platforms include a 13.3-inch model and a 13.3-inch model (GIgabyte); a 15.4-inch version (Flextronics); and a 13.3-inch CULV-based ultra-thin notebook (ECS), the report continues.
