TVonics enters production

The digital set-top box developer TVonics, based in South Wales, is promised a major contract to a high street retailer in the UK. Therefore the company now dares to enter manufacturing with its products. "We set out to be different. We have designed an elegant set-top box, which is much less intrusive than the boxes currently on sale," said Paul Fellows, the firm's founder to electronicsweekly.com. "Eventually, all new TVs will have built-in digital capability. TVonics will be providing the core technology to fully integrate digital television reception within stylish, flat panel LCD and plasma televisions," he said.
