Celestica sells of Power Systems
Celestica completes divestiture of Power Systems Business. Celestica also awarded Sun's “Best in Class Award” for its printed circuit assembly (PCA) manufacturing services.
Celestica Inc. has completed the divestiture of its Power Systems business to C&D Technologies, a global provider of solutions for power conversion and storage of electrical power. The all-cash transaction was valued at US$52.8 million.
Celestica was also awarded Sun's “Best in Class Award” for its printed circuit assembly (PCA) manufacturing services and the “Meritorious Award” for its systems integration services. Both awards are in recognitionwas presented of Celestica's contribution to Sun's business and for helping Sun stay ahead of the competition through its ability to deliver industry-leading quality, innovation and value.
