Lamitec Dielektra insolvent
Lamitec Dielektra GmbH, Germany based manufacturer of copper foil and laminates for the PCB production, is insolvent.
The company states that the current ecoomic crisis - affecting primarily the automotive industry - is the reason for the insolvency. Around 250 staff are now threatened by unemployment. The company has already applied for the opening of insolvency proceedures on Tuesday at the district court in Neu-Ulm, Germany. The sister company Lamitec Holding is, as a consequence, also threatend by the insolvency.
The company has production facilities in Grassau (150 employees), Cologne (68) and Neu-Ulm (35).
