Top 25 largest interconnect end-user in the automotive segment
Connectorsupplier has made a report mentioning which OEMs are the big players using connectors in the computer and peripheral segment. The automotive segment represents the largest segment in Europe.
Among the top 25 automotive companies that are buying connectors, 11 of them are European based, 7 from Japan, 3 from North America, 2 from China and 2 from Asia Pacific. In 2007, the automotive segment consumed 23.7 % of all interconnect products, according to the ConnectorSupplier report.
