Philips to sell computer monitor business
Royal Philips is to sell its computer monitor business to TPV Technology.
The purchase price will be $15.4 million. This is in reference to the announcement of the TPV Technology on July 8, 2008 about entering a Letter of Intent with Philips. TPV Technology will take over purchasing, retail, marketing and promotions of Philips computer monitors globally, reports Marbridge Consulting. The company will also have the exclusive worldwide rights to the Philips brand for computer monitors.
